Okay, wanted to get this out as quickly as possible as they just announced it yesterday afternoon while we were at the pool, here goes:

Sunday - DESIRE'S UNIVERSITY - Ladies: Schoolgirls - Gentlemen: Leather & Denim, rebellious boy

Looks like Diane and I will have to make a couple of theme night changes before our trip in 2 weeks. More sexy shopping :wink:

We are booked at Pearl from Jun 27 to Jul 1 then RM from Jul 1-6. We plan to soon start outfit shopping for the themes. How do be find out if there will be any changes to the themes for our dates, so we're not wasting money on the wrong outfits. We've seen a 4th of July group advertised for Jun 28-Jul 5 at RM, but we can't confirm or find out anything about them. If this is a takeover group would they likely be changing up the themes? How do we find out what the changes would be? It's difficult to start shopping if the themes could end up changed.

Go to Original Resorts site for Pearl and RM click under special events calendar will show changes for 4th July weekend. Also can see new nightly theme nights. We arrive at Pearl on June 29th. Our 2nd visit but 4th to Desire Resorts. Hope to get to say hi.

Thanks for the info. Took a look there on the site. The Independence Group (aka 4th of July group) is list on the special events calendar from Jun 28 to Jul 5 but there's no details on their events, themes, etc. Not really sure how big this group is, is it's a takeover, or where to find any info on them. Guess we'll just have to assume that the normal themes apply for these dates and start our shopping. Looking forward to meeting you guys. We'll be at Pearl from Jun 27-Jul 1 then moving over to RM.

As always for group information, you should first check the forums Master Groups Calendar there is an entry for that group - click in the calendar on the group and it will give you a pop up with more info on the group and a contact link to the group and/or TA for the group.

FYI - You probably won't get any feedback simply because it's not a regular organized independent group but rather that DPT just put together a resort contract for that week and then advertises it and trys to get people to book with them for that time period - not really deceptive many TAs do this as part of their marketing strategy

Sparkling black and white....we saw all white and all black themes between couples. Think fake diamonds and lots of glitz. It is more for the club and post dinner entertainment. My motto for theme nights...less is more. Ladies put on your bling and show your sexy side.
