Your Favorite Drink??

One of the radio ads for a bar/dance club in our area says they have "liquid viagra" as a drink. Anyone heard of this before? If yes, what's in it?

The only thing about "liquid viagra" as a drink I could find via Google was the following announcement

Pfizer Corp is making the announcement today that VIAGRA will soon be available in liquid form and will be marketed by Pepsi Cola as a power beverage suitable for use "as is", or as a mixer. Pepsi's proposed ad campaign claims: "It will now be possible for a man to literally pour himself a stiff one." Obviously we can no longer call this a "soft drink."

This additive gives new meaning to the names of cocktails, highballs and just a good old fashioned stiff drink.

Pepsi will market the new concoction by the name:

"Mount And Do"

Russian Qualude is fantastic. Consists of equal parts vodka, Frangelica Liquor and Baileys Irish Cream. Tastes like a mild chocolate drink but will kick your arse!

How are the margauritas at Desire?

- the only Grey Goose vodka I have seen there in 15 trips, is bottles that guests have brought with them or purchased in Cancun/Playa and brought back to the resort
- they have a local equivalent to Baileys that is not too bad, but it is not the real Baileys

Omahacouple - Margaritas - all depends on the bartender that you get them from. The more experienced ones make a pretty fair Margarita, however for my personal taste I usually ask them to make ours with an additional shot of Triple Sec(or their bar equivalent) which makes for a much smoother and more interesting drink

Oh, they definitely have Capt. Morgan! I go back and forth between Capt. Morgan and Havana Club......now if they only had Sailor Jerry, life would be grand! For those of you who like spiced rum, you need to try Sailor Jerry, it's got a hint of cherry and it's 92 proof vs. Capt. which is 70 proof. Two words, be cautious....it can and will kick your butt if you are not careful.

Anyway, last time we were there, one of the guests had some Aguavera and it was great! It's a sipping tequila liqour, a tad bit sweet but it goes down much easier when doing shots.

Which brings up the question...do a lot of people get drunk.....or just drunk enough to lose inhibitions??

I've seen both, moderation is definitely the key. The first day has a habit of getting some people over the top.....being soooo excited to get there, drinking early and often, not drinking enough water in between AND not eating. So, pace yourself, drink plenty of water and have some food in your belly and all should be fine.

Thanks...I suppose some has answered this question already but I can't find it....Is the water SAFE to drink at Desire. We are both big water fans and we drink a lot of it...but I have always heard don't drink the water in Mexico.

YES, ABSOLUTELY!!!!

You'll have bottled water in the room....we take both bottles with us to the pool and keep them filled during the day! Plus, they use bottled water at the bar AND the ice is purified as well. I have not heard of one person getting sick because of the water used on premises.
