Just in case you need to refresh the bartender's memory:

2 ounces White Rum
ounce Lime Juice
1 teaspoon Sugar
6 whole Mint Leaf
2 ounces Soda Water
Put juice and sugar into a highball glass and stir until dissolved. Rub mint leaves on inside of the glass and discard. Fill with crushed ice and rum, stir. Top with soda water and garnish with a sprig of mint.

I usually leave the mint leaves in however.....
Cheers

I prefer that they crush the mint in the glass rather than just rubbing it on the sides

like this:
A Mojito is traditionally made of five ingredients: white rum, sugar (traditionally sugar cane juice), lime, sparkling water and mint. The original Cuban recipe uses spearmint or "Yerba buena", a much lighter mint variety very popular in the island.[1][2] Its combination of sweetness, refreshing citrus and mint flavors are intended to complement the potent kick of the rum, and have made this clear highball a popular summer drink.[3][4]

When preparing a Mojito, lime juice is added to sugar (or syrup) and mint leaves. The mixture is then gently mashed with a muddler. The mint leaves should only be bruised to release the essential oils and should not be shredded.[5] Then rum is added and the mixture is briefly stirred to dissolve the sugar and to lift the mint sprigs up from the bottom for better presentation. Finally, the drink is topped with ice cubes and sparkling water. Mint leaves and lime wedges are used to garnish the glass.[6]

tahoeroby:  That was good.

I still like the idea of "Desire Initiative" branded beer, or other products for that matter. I can see little white foil packets of condoms with the "Desire Initiative" logo printed on them.

I am a huge fan of Chocolate Martini....I love them, but they are sneaky, you need to stand after the first one to see if you can still walk LOL

2 ozs Vodka (plain or vanilla flovour)
1 1/2 ozs creme de cocao
Shaken with ice
rim a martini glass with cocao powder
garnish with a chocolate mint stick

I also like cappicino flavoured vodka. We couldn't by it in Ontario, so my in laws send us a bottle from Alberta. I mix it with creme de cacao as well. It tastes like mocha.

One disappointment was not having premium sake in the Japanese restaurant. Sushi should be served with premium sake that is served chilled in such a hot climate as Mexico. If you order cold sake they just serve the rotgut cold--blech.

Better to just have cold beer than drink bad sake.
