Men -Theme Nights?

OK Guys and Gals, what's the consensus on men participating in the theme nights. We are making our 2nd trip to RM in about a month and I am clueless as what to wear to the Disco. The last time we went in 2011 I would say about 20% of us guys dressed for the themes. I was one of them that went all out because my wife enjoyed seeing my and participating with her. It was a little awkward at times  and those themes were easy to figure out because the were themes like Fire and police, Devil and Angel, Biker Night etc. This go around is not so easy. We are going in August and the themes are White Night, Foam Party, Animal Instincts, Playboy, Lingerie. So my question is, how many of the women enjoy seeing men participate and how many men think I am absolutely crazy for dressing up? Ideas? Lets hear em.

If more men participated id go all out. I tend to dress somewhat in theme but dont go over the top.

Its more fun for her if he dresses up... and quite honestly it's more fun for everyone when there is majority participation. Some themes we skip out on because we just can't find anything or simply don't have the room to pack it. The first time at Desire we had no idea there were theme nights and felt so out of place. We've dressed for the exact themes you mentioned on a recent trip. Here's what B (he) took to wear last time:

White Night: White ss dress shirt and off-white linen pants
Foam Party: Neon shorts and LED/glow accessories (easier to spot in the foam)
Animal Instincts: Nothing... simply didn't have any ideas
Playboy/Casino Night: Tux shirt (untucked and unbuttoned), untied black bow tie, black dress slacks, and flip flops: think James Bond in the tropics (but also brought a Hugh Hefner robe/pipe)
Lingerie: designer boxer briefs and a Chippendale bow tie/cuffs seemed to do the trick

If after the festivities you feel out of place, back to the room for a quick change is all it takes.

Have fun!!

I as a woman absolutely LOVE to see te men dress up! My husband dresses up each and every night and I think it's awesome! Of course, most of the women dress very sexy and sensual but I say if you like to dress up then please and thank you!! It's quite fun to start looking for outfits months in advance! It to us is like Halloween every single night. More power to all the men that are completely comfortable with themselves and go all out! Can't wait to see what the men do in October :)

Thanks for the great replies. You all helped me make up my mind to participate again! My wife says thank you. Now it's time to get shopping. I foresee some fun fashion shows in the bedroom for my wife!

My wife and I never miss a theme night, we really enjoy trying to think of creative costumes for the various themes. We have certainly accumulated a lot of costumes over the years but never thought twice about not dressing for themes. Hope you have fun.

And shopping for the theme nights, and having "fashion shows" at home, certainly helps fill the pre-holiday wait, and adds to the anticipation....
(I think I might burst - still 75 days to go....)

Well I ordered outfits for Lingerie, Foam party, and Animal instincts today. The Mrs. last outfit should be in the mail soon. Still trying to think of something original for the playboy night. I think the red silk robe will be played out a little so I'll keep looking. Thanks for the encouragement. I tried to have fun with the outfits while still being sexy for my wife. It's gonna be a freaky party. FUNN!

We're going June/July so our themes are a little different, western he's doing a full costume, there's a fancy night, neon night he's wearing white, foam night a swimsuit, and for the costume party we're doing playboy bunny and he's wearing an open tuxedo shirt with dangling bow tie. So we do more some nights than others, just depends.

I see most of these replies have to do with the RM resort. We are newbies to Desire Pearl and were wondering what to wear/bring for the red night and the hawaiian night? Do men dress? We would like to both be dressed and have fun. Also, is there any other "entertainment" besides the disco (and ourselves) at night?

Just returned from Pearl Sunday. Red night ladies sexy red lingerie and/or short revealing dress. Him maybe red silk boxers. Hawaiian night think tropical, leis, grass skirts, coconut or sea shell tops. Him leis or think Miami Vice Hawaii five O. Yes men participate in themes maybe not as many as ladies but there are some. Mine loves too make me smile by dressing his part as well. Only Entertainment is music either band or DJnin lobby before disco, some nights in disco had performers mostly dancers other than that make your own entertainment, which we had no problem doing.

Go have fun enjoy!!!

We found that most men did not dress up for many reasons. Which is too bad cause I think the whole place would benefit from having more people take part. I tried to dress up but was in the minority. But Rose liked it so for us that was all that mattered.

Now if Dave and Donna are reading this, hopefully Dave will chip in as he was in costume every night and he looked great. You could see how much fun they were having with it, and their fun was infectious as everyone around them had fun too.

I, the male half, intend to dress up as much as possible for the theme of the night. Sometimes it may be more of a challenge for us fellas but our partners are worth it. Plus who doesn't love attention?

Thanks everyone for the confidence builder. My wife and I are really excited to dress up for each other. Shopping is complete and we have each night covered (or uncovered you might say). I hope there are others there who will be participating as couples. So to all me fellow guys out there, get busy shopping and let it all hang out for the party. See you at the beginning of August.
