Looking for some input from anyone who has stayed in any of the Passion Suites (Please note...I'm not asking to compare the suite vs other rooms or the value/cost of the suite) but I am looking to determine if any of the passion suites are better than other suites....location, I heard there are some newer vs. older suites, closer to the pool, closer to the beach....any comments & pointers are helpful and appreciated...
Are they iPod / iPhone dock friendly? Wifi (for streaming music), etc...

We stayed in one and while it was nice to have a patio off the room oceanfront and right in front of our reserved beach bed, the hot tub in the room was a waste of money. We never filled it up as we heard from neighbors who did and were told it made their room so hot and humid.

We stayed in one in April this year. We loved it. Part of it was just the size of the room which made it easier to get ready with all the various clothing changes, but the main benefit was being steps from the beach. We loved having the large outdoor seating area where we ate breakfast most mornings and then took a few steps to be on the beach and in the beach beds located right in front of the room.
We loved them so much we have reserved one for a week in September. Feel free to PM me if you want further details or ask them here for others benefit.

Thank you...and, so you prefer ground floor vs. second floor? And it sounds like there is NO wifi in the rooms, better load the iPod up before we go.. Yea! Just a few weeks out...

For sure we preferred the ground floor. We had no problem with the WiFi either. It worked most of the time. We were able to FaceTime when needed and we only had connection issues a couple times.
The great thing about the ground floor was the quick access to the beach and the large patio with couch, swing and table to have breakfast on which we did every day. Nothing like breakfast in the morning nearly on the beach.
People walked by the room quite often going to the beach but we liked that and didn't have any privacy concerns. If you are looking for a little more seclusion a second floor might be preferable.

We were in a passion suite for a couple of nights. I think it was Rm. 2011. the size was great but we never used the jacuzzi tub either. And while the bathroom was a nice size, there was a bath tub / shower combo that wasn't easy to shower in and water sprayed everywhere (no glass or curtain). Except for being able to spread out and the great view of the ocean, we didn't really use the room that much. The reserved beach bed was very nice though.

Luckycharms - just noticed that we arrive the day after you. If you're giving tours, we'd love to see which passion suite you get.

We have stayed in several rooms. We really enjoy the passion suite however we feel it can feel like a waste of money. The rooms are very nice but you really don't spend much time in it. We stayed in them about 3 times and we really never used the room to the full potential.
