Looking back at past threads, it looked like Desire used to offer two different types of couples massage- sensual and erotic. Is this still the case and if not, is the current sensual massage more tame than the erotic massages of the past? We emailed the spa and have not received a response weeks later now.

We'll be there in a few days but I had the same question and Fabiola (guest services) assured me that they still offer both. I have been told that the erotic simply takes it a few steps farther.

Going for sensual tomorrow. Told point blank at check in that sensual involves masseuse stimulating both of you to the point you go together and have your own happy ending. Then she said erotic "you can have staff give you happy ending"

We wound up skipping the massage after speaking with another guest who happened to be a massage therapist and did the sensual massage while we were there. According to her, it was a nice experience but the massage was more like a rub and caressing. We enjoy a good massage and we were looking forward to a real massage incorporated with some naughty parts (we originally planned to do the erotic massage) so when we heard her experience, we changed our mind. The good thing though is that it sounds like the spa is going to be changing this massage soon so that it is a better experience and incorporates traditional massage techniques with pleasure points. Hopefully, they apply some tantric massage techniques.
