Hello!
My SO and I are planning a trip to Desires in April. It appears that the crowd is a large part of how good of a time you have. Are there recommendations for the best time of year to go?

April is ideal, always a good crowd, and perfect weather. Good choice!

We typically go May and November and have always had a wonderful time - not necessarily while an organized group as been, although we have overlapped a couple of days when a group/takeover was there - and there have always been lots of people and lots of fun.

Typical American holiday-type weeks are popular, also any week a takeover is going on should keep things lively. Since Canadians are such a huge part of the population, I guess Canadian Thanksgiving (in October  ) could be OK, although that's in the rainy season.

I think you might have better luck if you could narrow it down to a few dates/ranges and ask which. There are 365.25 days in a year, it's a pretty big pool to draw from. As many have said many times, there really isn't a BAD time to go :D

Via our work schedules, we have always gone the first or second week in June ..... this upcoming year June 8-16th. The rates are usually a bit lower, the weather has been perfect, and we have had a great crowd year after year at Pearl. We are sooooo looking forward to our next visit and we sure do welcome others to join our excitement! Too, we will be celebrating a big birthday for Mrs. Tommer ...... special adventures???
