We are doing some shopping in anticipation for our first trip to DRM and are wondering whether we should be looking for neon or black light reflective neon for the retro neon night.

You can't go wrong with either but most have black light clothing. The show in the disco that evening has a black light focus and during a portion of the disco time, the black lights were the only lights on. It's one of our favorite nights.

Is it a 70's-80's retro theme? I have a 70's style dress that looks great in black light, just didn't want to go tooooo far back!

The 70's/80's has to do more with the music that is played at the Melange Bar prior to the disco. The focus of the theme is the black light clothing, not necessarily the era, but if you want to wear the retro outfit, that would be fine.
