In december they opened up a new coco bongo club in Playa del Carmen!

You can find a video montage on youtube of the shows and it looks great--they have HUGE video screens to complement the show, which is even more elaborate than the Cancun location.

The price is $50/pp including drinks, which is fair considering how much you would pay for ticket for a vegas show.

How exciting! hopefully Desire will start having a "Coco Bongo" night again, where they get a shuttle van for guests to have a fun night out.

Desire has always offered to do a Cancun CocoBongo or club trip

All that it takes is to get a minimum number of couples together, in past trips if we were able to get about 12 to 15 couples together Desire would provide:
- one of the ECs to accompany the group
- round trip (A/C tour bus) transportation
- advanced private entry
- VIP seating area for the group
- all drinks for the whole night

and I believe that the cost PP was no more than $50 for all of the above - in my mind a fantastic value - if you haven't done a CoCoBongo night yet - you should !!!

Ok....for the ignorant question.....What is CocoBongo???

we did the CocoBongo trip a few years back. we had 6 other couples and while we were hesitant to leave the resort for even 6 hours, (we didnt want to miss anything!), we had a fantastic night out. the place is absolutely nuts and on top of that, when we returned to the resort (about 2am), the 6 other couples made our way to the hot tub and topped off the night with a "celebration" back in our room.

oh what a night!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

one more thing...I think we paid $100/cpl and we all gave our ec and extra $20/cpl tip.
