We are a hispanic couple, and we'll be there for the first time. My wife dosn't speak english. Is it normal to see hispanics there? Also. Is all the activities bilingual or plain english?

I am not certain, since we have never been to desire before - but based on our experiences at other mexican resorts, I would certainly expect that most, if not all, the staff speak Spanish fluently. Does your wife speak any french? My wife and I will be there from May 29-June 5 and are english/french bilingual!

Welll. We know that all the workers speak spanish, but we were asking on the tourists. But thanks for the answer, and hopefully i can practice my french

we have met many local couples when my wife and i are there. all the activities seem to be bilingual.

My wife is mono-lingual (English), but I speak passable Spanish, Russian, and Dutch. Estaremos alla de Julio 3 a 10 ... verdad, yo no hablo espanol como un hispanoparlante, pero como un gringo que ha aprendido una pequsima de su idioma. Todavia, nos gustaria conocer a uds en cualquier lingua posible.

gerrylu ive been working on my spanish but it still sucks. we dont have to much different foreign interaction here. Ive traveled all over the world,unfortnatly all the bad places, and sorry to say my english barely passes. lol its a kentucky thing. anyways will still have a blast and you can give me some spanish lessons and my wife will help your wife on the english till jcrd gets there.

hey jcrd can you send me a couple of russian words. my son is russian and cant remember hardly any of it. i guess smoking weed back in the day really does screw your short term memory. anyways when you get there, if you dont mind ,we will work on it.

What kind of Russian words are you looking for? "Hello" and "please pass the butter"? Or "your wife has an excellent ass" and "please pass your wife"?

I also need to know how to say in russian "I like your boobies" But I can also teach spanish tongue.

We've been to Desire several times and there have always been several spanish speaking couples there. All the activities are bilingual -- games at the pool and in the evening before the disco starts up. Your wife will not have any problems. We got to know several couples such as you and your wife. The fact that you speak English will make "conversing" with other non-Spanish speakers even easier. If you are into joining pool activities, you guys will be a hit no matter what the language issue is.
