What's the easiest, most cost effective, least hassle way that you book your trips? Previously we did Castaway and had no problems. But it appears I can get the same deal directly through Original Resorts. We are Non-Members of the Original Resorts group.

Does everyone use travel agents or just book online directly with the resort?

Unless you can get a package deal (air+resort) at a better overall price, then look to taking advantage of the direct Promo Specials offered here(most of these are not available via online booking sites)

I used Trivago to find the best deal for Desire RM. I recently discovered Trivago and ived used it several times for other resort searching with good success.

It's only a search engine and will show you the sites with the cheapest rates.

Used Orbitz before with their booking discount code. It works at any resort of at least worked desire Pearl and that saved us a significant amount of money off each night. You can book and rebook if pricing goes down. Ours did. And you can cancel I think 5 days out for no fees!! 5 more months!

Starting to think about <finally> planning a trip to Desire so this thread is nicely timed. What sort of percentage of the total were you able to save?
