Spending 8 days at DRM, obviously airfare, lodging, and food is payed for.. how much green should we bring for extras? Is cc ok for most things?

Are there any bargains, timeshares, or coupons to sign up for that would assist in paying for extracurricular activities?

We spend from $20 to $40 on average per day on tips. We bring in in $5 and $10.. They work best, getting change can be difficult.

You will need to bring cash for tipping, you can not tip with a credit card. We usually bring about $400-500 in cash for a trip that will be about 7-8 days. We usually get most of the $ in 1s, 5s, or 10s. The $20s we get are for tipping the butlers.

We were there for 5 days and I had about $1000 in cash, but came home with about $100. Photos were $400 and tips about $300. Spent about $100 in the gift shop on cigars and toys!

We brought $800 for our 14 nights stay. We tipped everyone (the pool staff including Sylvia, the bartender's, the house keeping staff, the waiters / waitresses and the 2am pizza / B.L.T. guys.. we spent roughly $600. Helpful advise: bring plenty of small bills. Cash back is often hard to do. To save on space while traveling with stacks of cash, we went to our bank and got several stacks of $2 dollar bills. Totally worth it!
