Desire Riviera Maya - Nightly Entertainment 2017

Sorry to say, I think they are eliminating the nights that encouraged creativity.
I predict less guests will be participating.

I agree we always participate in theme nights but seems they got rid of the ones we all love. Why don't they take a poll and asked the people that come to desire what is the best ones then maybe more people would participate.

Agreed .... Sure would be nice if they would poll us and use the themes that we all love. Participation would surely go up! A few of our favorites: Bare as you Dare, Uniform Night, School Girl Night, Neon Nights, Lingerie Night, etc.

I love school girl night. And each year someone does a double take of my wife as she is very petite and they question age.

We are the same age and one year someone asked if I was the janitor. Rude? Maybe, but I laughed it off.

Bare as You Dare/ABC-Anything But Clothes really promoted some creative people to go "all-out".

With four months to go before the new themes take effect, maybe management should consider some of the comments on here and change the themes once again before the New Year. We also are not particularily pleased with the new themes and most likely will not go to any effort to take part as we have in the past.

When are these new themes taking effect? We are going in Oct., all that is being shown are these, should we plan for these, or what were the previous ones? Time to start prepping for our trip.

2017 begins this coming January..... the 2016 themes are those that are shown on the current Desire website

Two thumbs down on the new themes. We agree, there will be less participation. One must wonder how they come up with these, certainly not through any guest review group. Changing one or two a year is alright, but a nearly full change ????

In reality all of the 2017 themes are just a sideways rework of themes that have been used In previous years.

The changes seem to be no more severe than if Susie announces to family, friends and co-workers she requests to be called Susan from now on.
