Just read on another Desire members board that Desire RM is to be sold. If true, it isn't the first desire Property to be sold. Cabo property was sold 4 or 5 years ago. Anyone know anything about this. It was posted on the other board as a question, not a certainty.

The poster seen it of Cancun Care with a comment that 'the sale was in process', which I believe there is some connection with Premier Resorts. I find it unlikely because it is a money machine, however with the new next door resort, anything is possible.

So you saw the necessity of posting a COMPLETELY unsubstantiated rumor, based on a post you didn't see, and can't link to. Nice.

Oh, BTW, Original Resorts would be the owner of Desire....

Also, if RM was to be sold, they wouldn't have knocked down building 16 and undertaken their two story suite project...

Just nope, not even a creditable rumor but this may be - if Trump is elected he has promised to legalize a daily hour set aside for 420 relaxation in all the high pressure corporate workplaces - I'm sure I must have heard this somewhere during the election run up process ......

FYI - Cabo was not sold, since Original Resorts never owned it, they just has a 5 year lease to operate the property - they decided not to renew the lease or outright purchase the Cabo property because they could never make it profitable
