WiFi & iPhone

After reading the other posts, I know that WiFi is available around the resort, and it sounds like the coverage is getting better. I would rather not take a laptop with me and I am hoping to get by with just my iPhone and WiFi. But two recent trips at hotels with WiFi required a login in flash that the iPhone was unable to complete.

Has anyone brought their iPhone and used Desire's WiFi?

In regards to the WiFi only, yes, to our understanding this service was upgraded recently. They have added a few repeaters and or routers. I can not say it will reach all ends resort now, but it is much better then the past, which was pretty much just the lobby bar area.

We will be down there in about 40 more days, Oct 17th, and will post on this site about it.

We have friends that have brought their iPhone down and had no issues with access. We have used our iPod Touch down there extensively without any issues.

We just got back and had no trouble with wi-fi in our room and my Blackberry worked perfectly!
