Theme night attire, what's the real deal

So my question is, for theme nights I.e. Sexy Uniform, Dress to Impress, College Night, etc. how much participation really takes places, is it most couples, some or a few?
Also, from the guys perspective, do the guys participate? Or do most guys use the "minimum effective design" approach, lol??
We are planning on participating as much as possible and hopefully others do too...

Participation seemed to depend on the theme night itself, but there seemed to be more participation than not. Women definitely participate more than men. Male participation ranges from matching the theme to wearing whatever they want, including silly outfits.

The point is to do what is comfortable for you. I love dressing up my wife, so we had an outfit for each night for her. She doesn't really care to see me dressed up, so it was minimal, and it worked because it was comfortable for us. She was nervous with the outfits I picked for her, so we had two outfits: very sexy and a "modest" choice. After reviewing some of the threads on this forum and seeing what other women were wearing, she had no problem with the sexier outfits.

In summary, the best comment I read was something to the effect of: it doesn't matter what you wear, someone else's will be more extreme than yours.

Hope this helps.

These nights are as much as you want to dress up. You will have way more fun if you dress up though. You draw way more attention and meet way more people if you participate, and there are few boundaries when it comes to outfits. Some are almost non existent, some are silly, and some are quite normal, again what ever people are comfortable with. Some of the nights are duds, but the playboy bunny one and the schoolgirl one are always a win for the women. As a guy unless you were very out there it was a bit of a dud. Oh and just a friendly suggestion about the playboy mansion night: when we were there there were five of the same playboy jacket. It's hot and uncomfortable, so a bit more originality wouldn't hurt. And just have fun!

We have had a lot of fun with it. Try to dress for five or so nights. She gets to be the star most nights but I get at least one.

This year for sexy uniforms I wore an Orange jumpsuit, that said Corrections department on the back. I had a handcuff hanging from one of my hands. The staff had fun with it. Making fake radio calls and having security come by and interrogate me.

The staff picked me for the finals of the custom contest. Eight women in hot outfits and me and another guy. I knew this wouldn't end well. :D First round polite golf clap, second round several of the ladies stripped me down but that didn't help either. Had fun though.

We renewed our wedding vows there this spring. I wore a tux for that and mansion night. Many compliments and more that a few hands in interesting places.

Have fun with it, try to be original, look sharp and it's all good.
