Has anyone tried the massage with another couple? Sounds like it would be great?

I've seen it advertised at the resort. $600US
What I've seldom seen are raving reviews about the Erotic Massages at DRM.
Plenty of those from Pearl, but very few from DRM and nearly no recommendations for therapists there.

We had the erotic massage for 4 (2 couples) about 4 years ago at RM. For the other 3 in our party, the massage was good to good+. For me, it just didn't work as an erotic massage. I felt so sorry for the little pudgy Mexican gal that was trying her hardest to get a hard going, but there was nothing erotic about the best described as housekeeping kind of uniforms they were wearing and the obvious 'systematic' method they were using to apparently get some arousal happening. The more she worked at it, the worse it got because the element of the atmosphere to create the environment for a erotic experience simply wasn't there for me. For the other 3 it was good+ only. Then they motioned us two guys to finish the massage on the gals as they were on their tummies and left the room. This is when it became erotic with massages and much more with the other spouses. Once we were finished, we were taken to the 4 person Jacuzzi with wine and cholate covered strawberries for 1/2 an hour, showered up and left a tip. The massage itself was a 3/10, the erotic part for me was a 0/10 simply because of the lack of the atmosphere that would induces an erotic experience wasn't there and I have been in many erotic situations that worked very well. Would I or my wife do it again...... no. Not worth the money unless you think this kind of experience will bring you results you may have never had before by someone else. Take the other couple to your room and do your own massages. That is much more erotic.

On the topic of 'a massage', I had one in Tibet last month that verged of Chinese confession torture to which I was to mucho to ask her to ease up a bit. It felt great when she finished. Had one in Bhutan last week that was the at the other end of the scale and nothing more than a back rub (not a massage). So massages can vary.

I can't comment on the four person erotic massage but the wife and I had the two person last month. Definitely have to agree with the last post. For the money it was definitely not worth it. The wife enjoyed it a bit more than me but the person and and uniform were not what I was hoping for. For the hype there could be a lot of improvements. Even if they did it in your room it might be a bit better. There are lots of opportunities for that kind of thing on your own. Save the money, meet some fun people and throw it out there for some fun room time. Would be quite the ice breaker anyway.

Last trip we met some people who did nude (but not erotic) massage outside on the gazebo so we wanted to do that this time. However with the beach situation and relocation of the bar it wouldn't have been the same. Instead we had a regular couples massage in the spa and it was very nice.

What bar are you talking about that they moved?? Did the beach bar move?

Yes, due to beach erosion they moved it to the gazebo, temporarily I assume, or maybe they are going to rebuild it, not sure. The structure is still there but at times at least, the water was all the way up to it. Also a security guy was standing in there and the entrance was taped up. I think there was a recent thread here with pictures of the beach situation, it was usable but there was definitely much less of it than September.
