From personal experience I have found the live chat agents are hit and miss with regard to having up-to-date information when themes, policies, schedules, etc. change.

I'm on the fence about this policy. We have hade some soft experinces with each other from time to time and it felt very naughty and we always waited until no one was arround. I like the idea of the freedom to do it as we enjoyed doing that at Hedo. I too am worried that the public might cause a stink about this but on the other hand I say screw them... They have warning signs at both ends and know exactly what they are going to see as far as nudity... Sex isn't that much of a leap... Well maybe in America but not the rest of the world. Same goes for the kids that come through with families (yes it happens almost every day that we have ever been there as we spend a lot of time at the beach), they know where they are taking there kids so more shame on the parents than those abiding by the resort rules. We'll see how long it lasts though. Hopefully until after we are there :-)

I would not care if my kids see nudity or are nude themselves.
I'd be upset (I think) if they were to see people having sex (if they didn't have sex themselves yet).

I'm of the same mindset, the are big signs so I don't really care, there really shouldn't be any surprises, and if so that speaks more to bad parenting. We didn't use the beds during the day but we did at night and that was way awesome. The daytime sex we saw was noticeable yet still discreet​, there were no neon signs or ringmasters announcing to the world, granted it's a small sample size but that was our experience.

Already broke the rule in Sept 2016...oops we didn't read the fine print. At that time the security guards did nothing to stop us either.

What is the cost to reserve one of the beach beds by the beach bar?

It's been awhile since we did it but it used to be $20/day or $100/week.

Not to take this too far off-topic, but my understanding was that you could pay to reserve a specific bed a day or more in advance (i.e. guarantee yourself the same bed everyday for your trip). I believe it is free to show up each morning and ask for an available bed, which would then be yours for the day. That of course runs the risk that there are no available beds that day.

Yes, that is correct. Free each day, but if you are there for 4 days and want the same bed each day it would be $80 (4x$20).

True. But if alternative is meeting new friends in pool or other bar you can't really go wrong

Wife and I stayed in June and LOVED the new beach bed policy. Everyone that was having sex on the beach beds were still private no one really noticed to much. Nothing like having my wife ride my cock motor boating her big tits during sunset and crashing waves. Thanks Desire this is one policy we love.

We usually pick the bed we want for the week and then give...can't think of his name, the guy who takes care of the beds, a big tip and it's ours for the duration.

How is this new policy going? Is anyone taking advantage of this during the day and openly? We sure are going to take advantage of the policy during our next trip!
