We have not been to Desire RM in a few years, but going in September. The last time we were there the beds near the upstairs hot tub had been removed. Have they been put back?

We were there in April and the bed were all along the outer wall and being used quite often

We were at RM in July. YES the beds were in place at the hot tub, upstairs....

I wonder how often, when the guys at NSA get bored, they move a spy satellite above the Desire hot tub. Just to see what's happening...

Maybe not NSA but I did see a drone at night one time.

One comment about the beds by the hottub at both RM and Pearl. Please be considerate and don't use them as a place to put your clothes or just taking a nap. We have seen this so much during peak times. Very inconsiderate to say the least.

Beds were there 3 days ago.

...as was a drone sighting.

Yes we were there in July and there were 3 on the deck near the tub and the rest at the far end of the tub near the rest rooms

Thanks for the info. We are going on 9/1/17 and can't wait to see the hot tub beds for ourselves once again.

I strongly second this. It is oneof my biggest pet peeves at Desire. The beds are for active use not storage of your personal items.

One thing to consider on this subject is maybe they are not aware of that unwritten rule. Those of us on this forum are well aware of this.
I know at vanilla resorts many guests go to the pool early, throw a tee shirt and hat on a couple of loungers to claim them. This was the only way to reserve a chair, unlike Desire that has a pool attendant managing this process. Maybe the resort can install a small sign with some guidelines?

I agree - one time we decided to move the items that were on the bed "saving it" the couple quickly came up to us and said 'that's our bed'. 'Oh, we need it for sex right now' 'well we are using it'. They then got out of the jacuzzi and sat on the bed. A few couples came up to us as we milled around in the jacuzzi and expressed how rude they thought that couple was and that kicked off a nice conversation with like minded people so it worked out. A sign ' please no saving beds' would be the perfect solution.
