Re: April or May?

Dear DRM Veterans, I have a follow on question. I noted that there is a takeover group traveling during May 5 to May 12, 2018. We are really really excited for our first visit to a CO resort and we want to make the most of it. Please help us decide on the following:

a) April (second fortnight) vs May
b) Group vs no group

Our considerations are, younger crowd, full occupancy, good weather and most vibrant atmosphere. Also, I read somewhere that if we visit immediately before or after a takeover (which is May 5th and May 12th), the atmosphere might be subdued / tame as it takes time for the resort to get filled after the takeover. Please advice if this holds true.
