Hobie Cat

Can someone who has been recently tell us what the state of the Hobie Cat is at the moment? Is it working OK or does it have broken bits?

The Hobie Cat and Sunfish are both in good shape. The winds weren't overly strong, but there was always enough of a breeze for a calm cruise.

I think there was a two dollar reef tax to take them out, but it is a one time fee for the entire week.

Well you see Hobie Cat is a funny looking cat they have behind the lobby bar that gets fed once a night and is always lurking about in the midnight hours! The Sunfish is one of the girls who brings drinks out to the beach and actually goes into the water to deliver you drinks....

No, just kidding of course, the Hobie Cat is a small catamaran they have at the resort that you can take out for a ride or one of the Desire guys will be happy to do so if you don't know how to sail. The Sunfish is a very small sailboat and can also be taken out, etc...!

It's actually a great way to spend an hour or so on the water and break up your day....gives you a totally new perspective and not to mention can be fun with another couple!!

All this time perusing this site, and we'd never seen anything on the boats. Imagine that! That sounds like a lot of fun, but we will need a captain (in addition to Captain Morgan) if we get the chance to do any sailing, as we are landlubbers to the core.

We'll have to look into that when we get there.
