We will be heading to DRM in September 2018. Seems so far away..... my question is, is there a better day to arrive than any other? We are scheduled to arrive on a Wednesday for a seven night stay. I'm thinking this may be off cycle compared to most travelers. Any thoughts on if it is best to travel on a Saturday or Sunday vs. midweek?

September 18!

We always travel mid-week to mid-week.
Cheaper airfare.

Many guests arrive for weekend to weekend, so there is generally a larger turn over on the weekends. So if you come mid week, you will have a few days to settle in for the weekend arrivals and also be a new couple for the guests that are there from the previous weekend. Anytime is a great time to arrive at Desire Resort.

We always go mid week to mid week...due to the cost of flights. It's much cheaper flying in Tuesday and flying out on a Wednesday or Thursday. Although we threw that discount away this year (we saved miles but spent an extra $700...LOL) by staying at Temptations for 2 nights and then at Desire from Thursday to Thursday, but what he hell, you only live once.

The mid-week to mid-week is nice. You get there and the energy builds toward Friday and Saturday. Then it chills a bit before we go home. We like it.

We too usually go mid-week, either Tue or Wed to Tue or Wed. Flights are less expensive and you do seem to meet more people staying through the weekend turnover. The one time we flew in on Saturday, our plane had to park on the tarmac because there was no gate space. It took us over 3 hours to get through Customs because of the crowd. That was time we could have spent in much more pleasurable ways!!!

We have always done weekend to weekend to maximize vacation days. Retired now so doing the mid week to mid week trip to save a lot on airfare.

We have found there is a constant rollover of people. Bigger usually on the weekends but constant. And if you are doing a full week, you don’t miss anything going mid week to mid week.
