Desire Resort Forums

When we visited last, the new Breathless resort next door looked like it was just about to open. Does anyone know if or how it has affected Desire? We heard it was going to be adults only and topless friendly. Just curious if the guests are walking by Desire a lot or if they've had any complaints that have changed anything at Desire. How about the hot tub? It looked like some of the rooms would be overlooking parts of the hot tub. Thanks for any info anyone can share.

We've been to DRM twice since Breathless opened and we saw absolutely no difference. In fact, I think the erosion of the beach has resulted in less beach walkers (gawkers) than in past years. I suppose that there are rooms/balconies that might have some view of the Desire property, but Desire has erected a structure behind the jacuzzi bar area that appears to block the view of the jacuzzi bed action.

Sadly, with better and better photo capability of cell phones, cheaper cameras, etc. a person does have keep in mind that there is, however so slight, the possibility of a photo of you at Desire showing up in some @$$hole's collection on the internet. IF it were to happen to you, how much damage could it do to your life, career, etc?
