Hello. We are going to Desire RM in April. I have 2 questions

1. Does anyone have a daytime activities calendar they can share?
2. Are there any daytime activities you would recommend we should partake in or ones that we just should not miss?

Thank you. Just trying to pre plan. We have seen lots on evening events but very little on daytime.

Also. Last time we went we never were there early enough to get beds. What’s the trick to get a bed by the pool?

The calendars change (potentially) week to week, but generally pool side activities happen mid afternoon. As far as what not to miss I'd say the foam party, more crowd involvement than all the other days. The rest of the time its kind of a ramp up from lunch time until jacuzzi time, with the steepness of the ramp very much dependent on the crowd.

As for beds, if you really want one just walk down there early enough and reserve one, we've had good luck with that approach. We usually don't get the pool beds though, we prefer the round chairs (don't know what they are actually called), but have seen the beds available.

As far as getting beds by the pool, first off, if you are a member they are easy to get. We are not, so what we have found is that you have to get up early. If you are at the pool by 8:00am you can usually get a bed. Bring some money and tip the guy working the pool, bring some stuff to leave on the bed and you should be set. I usually wake up early, walk down reserve a bed or chairs, then walk back to the room and go back to sleep.

The pool volleyball and trivia event are sometime fun, depending on the crowd. Definitely the foam party. You should also check out any of the massage classes if they are offered.
