Update on Ida
Posted: Sun Nov 08, 2009 8:35 amHas anyone got any info on how the resort and area is holding up with Ida's presence. How is the beach, flooding, weather, etc? We land on Wednesday.

Ida has veered away from landfall on the Yucatan peninsula. Heavy rain is expected late Sat and all day Sun as well as higher tide levels due to the storms passing - but other than that Cancun and the whole Riviera Maya area are not concerned about other effects from Ida at this point in time

I would love to post some information about Desire and Hurricane IDA.
We are fine, not bothering us all. We are having some rain and little wind but that s about it. It Is suppose to get stronger in the afternoon but it hasn’t affected us at all.
