We haven't been to RM since Pearl opened. Our last visit there was in 2014. Has there been any changes to the resort since then and specifically have the rooms been remodeled? We have heard and seen that the pool now has a swim up bar. It also appears that the disco has been renovated.

Among the changes include Tentazione (the outdoor poolside restaurant) which was completely renovated, including an expansive dry bar (opposite side of the swimup bar), expanded buffet/grill area and all new tables and chairs, pool deck has new loungers and additional palapa beds, Piacere was completely renovated/remodeled and is now called Sahlo, outside lobby area has a stage for the bands and two and four person bar top tables and chairs that seat a total of around 30+ people. Main dining room has new tables and chairs and I was told by the food and beverage manager that more renovations are planned to it this year. Rooms are constantly being worked on and the ones we have been in have some new furniture (finally more drawer space). Four new two-level oceanfront suites were added )$1,990 per night prime season) We just returned from RM two weeks ago and were very pleased with all aspects of the resort, including our room, food and beverages, entertainment, including the bands that played most evenings, service, etc. Place was at full occupancy most of the 9 nights we were there and we thought it was one of the better group of guests we had encountered in our many trips over 11 years.

Shore - thank you for your detailed response. What room did you stay in? On of our big issues with RM was the lack of draw space the late room we stayed had one drawer; the top desk drawer

We were in 1401 which is one of the gardenview superior rooms. Those are the ground level rooms in buildings 13, 14, 17, 18 and 19. They are a little larger than most of the other gardenview rooms although have no patio or balcony. Not sure but I believe the desks that were in many of the rooms were replaced with dressers so there is more drawer space than previously.
