How much luck have y'all had requesting specific rooms? Let visit, we got the notorious room right under the hot tub. Not too terrible except when they started cleaning at 8 am. Bump, bang, scrape from the ceiling...not what you need after going to bed at 4 am!

if you try to request a few different things,like we always ask for king bed.away from jacuzzi rms,bottom floor,you might score on one or two of them,we usually ask for two or three of our fave,rm #'s,that usually helps,there is a map of rm#'s in the faq,s on this site.

Same with us, we've always given around 4 suggestions, always for a king bed, and always got one of the ones we wanted, or so far anyway.

When doing the Express Check in we have had 100% success! I agree with the posts above, have 2-3 rooms that fit the "type" that you would like in mind, and you should be all set

Question for the experts: How far in advance do you make your request for a specific room or bed type?

I was told by Silvina that admin. started to look at allocating rooms about 2 weeks before arrival, so we asked 3 weeks before; but we haven't used the Express Check-in yet and guess that that should work OK now.
I'm not an expert, though, just a fan.

As first time visitors, we would really appreciate suggestions for garden view room numbers. Any suggestions on what side of the resort is best? We do plan to visit the famous hot tub, but do like getting quiet sleep too. Thanks in advance, oh ya going in March 2010

We had no luck with requests. Used pre checkin an requested a king bed but no luck. Rm# 2302 the building in the NE corner of the property. The tennis court was behind the building.

If you are looking for a king size bed during your stay, it is best to request a specific room - also it is best to provide 2 or three "optional" rooms - make the request to the reservations dept no more than (2)two weeks before your actual arrival

They will generally try to accommodate your requests if available, but there is no guarantee.

Is there a way to know which room #s have king size beds? We are staying in an Ocean View room? Does anyone have recommendations for Ocean View rooms?
