So we were there in April for our 6th trip. We have always craved bacon pizzas at the end of the night and we ordered up a few this trip. In years past they have been amazing and just what the doctor ordered after a full day of Desire fun. This last trip they were borderline inedible. The crust was more like bread then a pizza crust. We thought that we might be crazy so we messaged a few other couples that had been there in the weeks prior. They confirmed that they hated the new pizzas.

We started a full on investigation. Our inside sources (Alejandro) said that their normal pizza dough guy was out but would be back soon.

So, the big question is, for you repeaters that have been there in the last month, is the pizza back to Desire’s normal lofty standards?

Please tell me it is!

We were there mid April and they were great as always. The cranky lady that was slow and didn't care was gone and a new short younger guys was making them. He was fast nice and made great Pizza.

Here's an odd but valuable question for a soon to be newbie. Late night lobby pizza is available and generally after everyone has been in the jacuzzi for a while, presumably naked. We have to have clothes for the lobby. What do people generally wear during that time? Excuse my ignorance on it but I would rather be prepared.

While (nearly) everyone is naked in the jacuzzi, rarely does anyone go from their room to the jacuzzi without being (at least scantily) dressed or in the robes provided in the rooms. There are "cubbies" along one wall near the jacuzzi bar to store your clothing/personal items while "busy" in the jacuzzi. Thus, upon leaving the jacuzzi for the lobby bar & late night snacks, everyone is again somewhat clothed.

And unless I’m mistaken, the pizza is actually cooked and served at a bar that is outside the main lobby. You are outside and under the stars.

Nudity is acceptably at the lobby bar but clothing is required at all other dining areas. It is generally accepted that the area where they are serving food at the lobby bar people wear at least a towel.

We always bring the robes from the room up to the jacuzzi and then wear them to get pizza.
