Will definitely be waiting for the trip report. And definitely disappointed to hear about the redesigned room. As first timers late this feb, we were definitely interested in exploring the sin room. But it doesn't sound like it will really live up to the previous glory...

It is indeed far too light at night. We didn't spend any time in there other than taking a look at the renovations.

Just an FYI on this topic - based on a photo Desire posted on Instagram, it looks like they added some sheer curtains to break up the expanse of beds a little bit and may have also softened the lighting in the room. We won't be there to verify in person until April...

I saw the same new photos on their twitter feed. When we were there in November, it was a really bland room. No accents on the walls. Solid color walls. Bland gray bed area. The only real lighting was the harsh lighting from one tv against the back wall. That's it.

Based on the new picture, it looks like they added a lot of stuff... the sheer dividing curtains, the pattern on the wall, the chandelier type lights, the curtains against the wall, the red accent lighting around the top of the walls. It looks like they attached bondage stuff to the padded wall near the door.

I'm going to take a guess that they turn down the chandelier lights at night. I hope they also learn how to turn down the overall brightness of the backlights on those LED TVs.

From our perspective, it is definitely an improvement over the bare and colorless room that we saw in November. We never saw the old playroom, so I can't compare it to that.

We were at Desire Dec '18 and did not like the new sin room. The room itself was way too cold and beds were slippery. The old sin room felt more welcoming and beds were better too. Hopefully they change it before we go at the end of this year.

Any update on the Playroom? We enjoyed the old one a lot, was very inviting... the pics here on the renovated version don't inspire... can anyone update on this?

We just returned from RM and we liked the new sin room. There was plenty of room for a lot of people, and we liked that it was easy to see and be seen by others. They also had a liberator couch in the corner that you could use!
