In conversation with Arcos during our Halloween trip he mentioned that Silvia had very recently opened her restaurant. He said business was slow but the food was great. Her information is as follows:

Maybe a stop to or from the resort to the airport is in order for our next trip. Hope some others can do the same.

It would be great to see Silvia again and drop in for Tacos. We are going to miss you guys this Jan/Feb. We see you are going in March. Have another (#35) great time.... B&C

We just got back from Desire.
I wish we would have known.
Arcos was off the week we were on site so we didn't get to talk with him.

We will make a point to visit Sylvia's new place next month when we return!
Miss her so much!

Her restaurant is located at their house, which is roughly 20 miles southwest of Cancun and northwest of Desire. It would be quite a detour from the airport. Arcos took me there a couple of years ago (He and I went on a bike ride). It is a very quaint outdoor cafe and I'm sure has great food . . . we all already know the service the service is incredible!
