We will be there for the first time next week and have a question about theme nights. Do you go to supper in one outfit and then change into your theme night attire after supper? Please advise, Sorry if this question has already been asked.
Thanks

Depends on the night. If more “costumey” then most likely separate sexy dinner attire.

We are new to Desire Riviera Maya and wondered if the theme nights are mandatory.we I’ll probably dress in some them s but may just go smart and sexy for others. Also, does everyone wear costumes to dinner or change into them after?

Any help would be appreciate thanks x

Not everyone dresses in the theme. More women do than men tho. Normally if people don't dress in theme, they usually just wear something nice/sexy. Depending on how elaborate the costume is, sometimes they wear it to dinner or they change afterwards.

What are the men generally wearing to Desireland night? The wife's outfit was fairly easy on this one, Im having a heard time though.

I am wearing a black pants & a tuxedo vest & bow tie (with no shirt underneath)...kind of a male stripper look.

Honestly.... there really isn't a "too much"
We were just there in April and we thought a couple of our outfits would be 'over-the-top' and we were wrong... everyone fits right in... (other than the fully clothed wallflowers, and they're cool too ;) )

Really the only thing that's "inappropriate" are those that look like they dressed for dinner at a vanilla resort! Have fun with it, this is your chance to dress & act like ppl you don't get to on most occasions!

When do the themes change? Going in December and my assumption is that the themes will be the same as they were in May. Correct?

In our limited experience over the past 2 years or so, it seems they shuffle the themes about every six months in December and July, but the changes in July were somewhat minor.

Crap, forgot about that. Maybe I should wait to buy the remaining theme outfits. Bought some outfits last year that we didn't get to wear because they switched it up. Thanks for the reminder.

We talked about a Pretty Woman theme for the Hollywood night but there’s NO WAY I’m packing a tux for Mexico!

Skip the tux. Just take a vest, a bow tie, and a black boxers (or a thong, if you're really brave).

So have there been any of the rumored July changes to the theme nights? Or is it too soon for them to post that?

Alright, despite lots of effort, I’m at a loss for what to wear for leather night. The wife has her skimpy, tight little latex number. That was easy. What the hell are guys wearing? Does anyone have any specific examples? Maybe with links?

Maybe you could just do leather undies?
