The Superior Room says King Bed while the Deluxe Garden says Queen or King. how do we ensure we get a King?

You must be looking at some old information, all rooms at Desire RM currently have only King beds ;)

Good to know. It was Orbitz last night. Cheaper superior said King. Couple dollars more garden said King or Queen. So maybe deaire and orbitz ought to look at that. Id easily bick a cheaper King than risk a queen.

If you don't believe me then simply go to the official Desire site and see for yourself under the Rooms and Amenities tab that ALL rooms at the resort CURRENTLY have King beds.

I believe you. I’m just saying orbitz site is different. Someone said you get cheaper at orbitz. Didn’t see cheaper but did see their room description.

I believe the superior rooms are the ground floor rooms in the buildings that are 2 ground and 2 above. They have a seating area and a step up to the bed area and the big pillars on the bed. The rest of the garden view rooms are deluxe rooms.

We were just in the 1300 building, and they have removed the step up to the bed (thank God). No more stubbed toes and scraped ankles. They also eliminated the step up into the room at the door. We only stay in this room category, and have to say these are fantastic modifications.

We stayed in a Superior view room in the 1400 block last year. If memory serves, it was 1402 on the ground floor. It was a terrible room! There was an attached maintenance closet with CONSTANT noise after 7AM. Doors slamming, mop buckets being filled, staff meetings and discussions, etc. We didn't realize until near the end of the trip just how much the lack of sleep due to noise was negatively impacting us.
