Ok, I'm going to preface this post by saying anyone who knows us knows that we LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Desire...everything about it.

Of late I've had several clients and friends mention the quality of food has gone down at the resort, in all categories. Breakfast, lunch, dinner at Sahlo, Suki and nightly buffet.

Can anyone substantiate, or better yet, negate what I have been hearing? We've always felt the food at Desire, while not 5-star or Michelin rated, was a cut above that found at many all inclusive restaurants.

We just came back a couple of weeks ago and food was as good as it had been for the past 8 years.

We just returned this past Monday and as well, the food was top notch, same as always. No complaints here!

Just returned from our 14th trip to RM over 12 years. Both agreed that the food was the best it's ever been. Yea, there's going to be an item or two, but overall really good. We also liked the new menu at Sahlo. They have a new Sous Chef that seems to have breathed a renewed life into everything.
