Deluxe gv vs standard gv

Hi all! We are new here and as the name states intrigued about going to desire. On our dates it shows to only have the deluxe gv and standard garden view rooms available. I know it's been discussed before but after searching I see most answers are pretty dated. Can anyone help with the difference in these rooms currently? The deluxe is a few bucks cheaper but not a deal breaker for the small difference. Thank you in advance as we try to build the courage in making the decision to book!

The Deluxe (and they are the more expensive of the two), are on the first floor of the 1200-1400 & 1700-1900 buildings . They have a little extra space. What's nice is that space includes two small sofas. It gives you a little more space to spread out (with friends and family!). I believe all of the rooms in that category have recently been renovated. I know the room we stayed in last January had been renovated within the last year (we stayed in the same room the previous January). In 15 trips, we've been in this category all but one time.

Desire RM has Deluxe and Superior Garden View Rooms. The Superior Garden View rooms cost a little more, are on the first (ground) floor of the 1200-1400 & 1700-1900 buildings and have a nice sitting area. The Superior Garden View rooms are fairly consistent in size and layout whereas the Deluxe Garden view rooms layout and size vary considerably.

Thank y'all for the replies. Sounds like either would be fine and ends up being a decision from being on ground level or not. The key is just getting over the hump and booking the trip!!

If you get the Deluxe room attached to the janitor closet, don't plan on sleeping in. It is horribly noisy.
