Shame we almost got to see you again

Yeah, but worries, friends. I’m sure our paths will cross again at some point. 8)

Hello to all.
I/we are mid trip planning.
I am 38 she is also 38
We have never been on a trip like this but are both excoted although she is more uhhhh....apprehensive or questionable at least as to how it will go. More of the reserved type but not a total square.

Nonetheless we need to plan this around our kids spring break so they can get dropped mid flight at their grandparents. Don't worry they are well equipped with boats and beaches and pools at their house in the keys so the kids won't be totally shafted on their portion of the trip.

Anyway. Looking at Friday March 8- Wednesday or Thursday the following week.

What's the crowd normally like? We aren't in the lifestyle, we do however look forward to being surrounded by it.
I think we are hoping for a liberating/sexy vibe with a large and fun crowd
Don't want to create high hopes in out minds and slide right into a down week. My nervousness around this revolves around age range knowing that most people our age will be with their kids. That's why its called spring break after all.

Anyway this is the first of probably a few topics to be posted in the coming months.

Thanks in advance

We are in our 30s going Feb27-March 3rd. We also will be dropping the kid off at the grandparents haha.
Once you get there you will get into the daily flow of things quickly. While yes majority of the crowd will be older 40-50s there will be plenty of couples in the 30s to hang out with.

We were there this last march (we're in our 40s), and we were solidly in the middle of the crowd. Lots of 30 somethings and more than a few 20 something couples. As for the crowd, it's generally awesome. You'll have as much or as little fun as you want. People there are super pleasant (and who wouldn't be when you're there, lol) and respectful. Your day range sounds good. Come in on a Friday, through the weekend when the resort is most active and then enjoy some quieter time before it's time to head home.

Enjoy your stay!!!

You will have a great time. Every week at Desire is better than any other resort you would ever go to.

Thank you for the replies.
I guess I should have said that age doesn't really concern me. 40-50 yr olds normally have better conversations.
I believe crowd liveliness and attitude is more important and while no one can predict that, mainly wanted to ensure March wasn't an unspoken "avoid it month", just due to either college kids or only empty nester

Hey everyone. Getting closer to March! So excited. I searched the forums for St Patrick’s Day and only found one post from 2014. Does anything special go on at DRM that day? Does the theme night change at all?
Thank you!
