It appears there may be a group takeover at RM October 7-12. I think the sponsors are H&H Social Club or something similar. We've not heard of them. Does anyone know anything about this group/takeover? We were hoping to go at this time, but as a result of the takeover the resort is sold out, so we booked Pearl instead. If it is a good group, we might switch.

We met the organizers of this last month during a DRM trip, Mark & Mandy I think they were called. They seem a nice couple, very open. I believe it’s their first attempt at such a takeover so I don’t think you will find it cliquey.

Just a FYI - a takeover by a group means they have booked all the rooms at the resort for their event - if you booked a room thru the normal means for the same week then it's not a takeover - in addition if it's not listed on the Desire special events site as a Guest Event it's not an official group booking thru Desire, probably a small group of less than 20 couples ....
