"Friends & Lovers"- after Valentin

Barbara and I just returned from Desire a week ago, but of course we immediately started thinking about our return trip for the winter.

We've done January a couple times and considered that again but the weather is so iffy. We thought about Valentines week too. But we had also heard about the new "Friends & Lovers" group that Char Travel has put together for the week of Feb 18-25 (http://www.chartravel.com/). Looks like she has some special incentives for booking by Oct 1st over and above the resort special, she has both a body painter and palm reader made famous at Hedo coming in for the week, and that same week Desire will have all 4 of those crazy characters from the "Sex is Fun" podcast in attendance ! Char & Jim of Char Travel (very fun people themselves) will be there too to make sure we all have a good time.

That sounds too good to pass up - and we are thinking the weather will be better than January too. So we are in ! We are looking for new friends and old to join us. Check it out with Char Travel (char@chartravel.com or ph= 215-321-4451 ) and let us know if you are going to be there. I hear they'll be setting up a yahoo group for the trip but in the mean time we would love to hear from anyone who is going.

Don't think there will be any changes this time since it is a new group. We'll just follow the resort schedule...

We've never been to a takeover so not sure how it works?

There are some Char Travel "incentives" for both repeaters and new customers when booking with a group- and for booking early. In this case the deadline is Oct. 1st for the best deal.

Keep in mind folks that the Desire early booking discount for February ends on Oct. 25th ! After that you'll pay $50 more per person per night for a garden view room. Plus, we just heard today that Char travel's
new customer/group booking discount has been sweetened- and extended to that same October 25th date.
What is everyone waiting for- jump in and contact Char to get your reservation. It will be a great week at Desire- and Barbara and I are looking for a whole bunch of fun people to share it with.

the resorts specials for February have ended, and the resort calender is showing garden view rooms as sold out for Feb 18-25. But Char Travel does still have GV rooms for the week and the Friends and Lovers group, and she is offering some new incentives for a limited time.

The resort is sold out in gv except for these..............
