Question about how groups affect the atmosphere at Desire

I see where there will be two groups at Desire during our November 2011 trip. "Vampires and Virgins" during the first part of our week and "Party Naked Baby" during the end of our week. Can anyone provide any comments about either group? I found PNB's web site and Yahoo group, but there's not much new activity. Our previous (first) trip had no groups and I'm just wondering what differences to expect.

We always go to Desire in April and go again in November with the Fluffernutters. Things tend to be more "active" with a group takeover and some groups, Fluffernutters in particular, go out of their way to provide a goodie box before your arrival and host a number of activities during the visit such as their famous "cock and tail" party. We therefore go in April to relax and in November to have fun.

Generally speaking, yes things do tend to be more active when there is a group in the house. Usually some special events and a lot of participation in themes.
But- of course each group is different ! We don't have personal experience with either of these two. However
if you follow the links from our events calender you'll see that Vampires & Virgins is an event by "Aphrodizia"-
a large European swingers club. Their reputation is that of a "classy" swingers group. Party Naked- as the name suggests- is likely to be more the typical mixed crowd Desire party group.

On our last visit, there was a European group that we overlapped with.

We found them interesting to say the least. They basically kept to themselves, had their own activities (although they did welcome us other guests to some of their "private functions") and there was a bit of a language barrier. They really do go all out with their costumes, outfits, themes, and they certainly were not just "dabbling" in the lifestyle. It was full-on, that's for sure.

The evenings were when we mostly saw them as their group had off-site excursions for them to do during the day.

They were not loud and obnoxious, nor did we feel they took over the resort.
