You go to desire because it’s one of the few lifestyle focus resorts in the world. I’ve been to lifestyle hotels, pools, resorts, etc and it’s all the same. The premium is because it’s a LS resort, that’s it.
We can agree to disagree on this one.
There was a post on another thread where a guy said his wife was nervous about going to Desire. I had told him that Desire is a wonderful resort and can be enjoyed even if his wife (or anyone else) does not want to engage in the sexier activities.
I think anyone can have a good time there, even if they want to stay more vanilla. The design is beautiful. I love seeing the various flowers, plants, trees and manicured grass. The staff is amazing, practically everyone is courteous and helpful and many go over and beyond. The pools are great, whether someone wants a more fun, lively environment or just a chill, quiet, relaxing one. The restaurants aren't stellar, but I think they're great. The music, dancing and entertainment are great also. If the beach were better, it would round it out even better.
I agree that Desire is a great lifestyle focus resort, but my point here is that it's a great resort aside from that aspect.
