DRM Trip Report Sept 19th, 2019

So...thought we'd pen a few thoughts from our latest DRM trip. We always enjoy reading about other's time there and wanted to share as well.
As always the place was amazing. This may have been our favorite trip of the many we've spent at DRM, DP or at our long-gone (and beloved) Desire Cabo.
It's hard to imagine a better crowd than we enjoyed this week; so many wonderful, beautiful people!

Check-in was a breeze, we requested our favorite building and floor and were quickly accommodated.
Our room was excellent, we don't spend much time there, but everything was perfecto. Housekeeping was excellent.
The grounds were impeccable as always. And it's wonderful to have the seaweed-free beach! What a difference!
Pool and hottub were excellent--clean, and temperature was spot on. Spa and gym were both fine.
Entertainment staff did a great job. Kevin and Yuni are the leaders now with Anna (and Stu) gone, and Pao and Bee are learning. They seem to be doing a great job.

Food was very good. Breakfast is always excellent, no complaints.
Lunch was great, the daily outdoor lunch bar continues to impress, we're so glad they made this a permanent thing. The seafood bar is to die for.
Dinner at the various restaurants was good; service was impeccable. Suki is a fave. We didn't frequent Sahlo this trip and can't comment. The Mexican buffet dinner *in the lunch hall* was fantastic. Don't miss it!
Drinks were good, the bartenders do a great job.
Carlos is king with his BLT and pizza bar. This is unquestionably the best place on Earth at 2am after a night of shaking it in the disco and soaking in the hottub.
Fyi--The bugs at the pizza bar are formidable! We saw lots of gals (including Renee) walking around dressed to the nines and covered with bug bites--there has to be a good solution. We're going to recommend a thermocell (or several) for bug control in that area, maybe the resort will install the gadgets.
The other thing we noted was the amount of cig smoking around the resort, especially the entertainment bar. It was over the top in our opinion. Couples were smoking right in the Jacuzzi as well and that got old. Personally the vape stuff doesn't bother us, but the cigs do.

Disco was great, nice and cool up there, decent playlist. Everyone had a great time.
We wonder why they have second show in the disco after a show at the entertainment bar, several couples also mentioned this to us. Maybe it's more popular than we think. Those we talked with would like to see it eliminated. At 11pm couples seem ready to mingle and dance in the disco after the bar entertainment.

That about covers it for us. We can't imagine anyone having anything less than an amazing time, the place continues to be the premier lifestyle/clothing optional club in the world for us!

It would be good if the show was moved to the club and not at the downstairs bar. Not as hot upstairs and no bugs.

The space seems too limited for that, Jerry. It's tight up there for what they do as it is, especially when the rainy weather forces bands to head up there...
