DRM April 2021, Disappointed 12+ trip
Posted: Tue May 11, 2021 6:37 amI never thought we would feel this way about Desire. Let me first say the staff was great as always and the people too. The pool party was fantastic for their anniversary celebration with a live band. That would be welcomed for us once a week at the pool.
Our disappointment of this Aprils trip was with the food and especially the liquor. Many times they ran out of or never had Don Julio or premium vodka (Tito’s, Belvedere or Goose). Sky or Absolute at most bars only with the best being Smirnoff.
I am posting my first ever negative comment about our still fav place in hopes Management will read this. We did make our feelings known politely of course while on property.
Context: We have visited Desire more than 12 times and are members. Don’t worry you’ll still have the time of your lives but this is an area we feel can use some attention. I do understand the effects of COVID on the industry as we are in hospitality also at home. So if this is the reason we hope it’s temporary.
