Desire May 16th to 23rd

Background. We are an early thirties couple very new to the lifestyle (appox. 6 months) this was our first trip to a clothing optional resort.
Trip Report. For the people who will only read the first few paragraphs... WOW WOW WOW. It can not be said enough how much of an amazing experience this has been. We truly have nothing bad to say about the resort, the food, the staff, the people, the whole trip. We had terrible weather the majority of the trip and it rained on and off every day, but still had an amazing time. We would go back next week
if it wasn’t for work, kids, money!!! Bottom line this was the most unbelievable vacation. If it is a vacation with no kids, it is an easy decision…Desires!!
We arrived Sunday around 2:30 a little nervous and very excited. We were greeted with champagne, checked in. Are room was going to be ready in 30 min so we went for a walk to the pool bar for a drink. We stayed fully clothed had a drink and took in the sights around the pool.
Funny, after we were there a few days we could tell anyone fully clothed in non beach wear around the pool at 3:00 had just arrived!
Are room was ready on time. Room 2101 nice room with a queen bed.
There is no bath only a shower. Friends we meet had room 1401, it was bigger, had a king bed, couch seating area, and a bath. Plus it is close to the pool with semi ocean view even though it is a Garden view room. They said they request a few times a final got it. Popular room.
We headed to the ocean and laid down on the lounge chairs for about five minutes, looked at each other and…off with the clothes and went for a swim in the ocean and a walk down the beach. It only took minutes to feel comfortable. As it has been said on the forum many times there are all body types(young, very old, big, small, hairy and shaved).
We talked to a couple just as we were about to leave the beach to check out the pool. A family with a an approx. 12 year old boy walk down the beach.(Only kid we saw walk by all week) We struck up a conversation with the couple about how that was a little awkward and proceeded to talk with them for an hour. They were one of 3 couples that we hung around with regularly all week. One of the things that made this trip so amazing was that we quickly met that one couple and 2 others we previous emailed before the trip. So we always had people to talk with by the pool, dinner, dancing. It also made it much easier to meet so many other people as everyone they meet or know we were introduced to. It didn’t talk long before a walk from the room to the pool you would see many familiar faces.
Normally we would hit the main hut bar by the lobby for coffee in the morning. Then the buffet for breakfast. (Try the omelets they are excellent). We would then go to the pool. Tip for the pool. You now need to reserve the lounge chairs around the pool. Earliest we got there was 7:30 and they were already taken. Quickly learned the same people had the same chairs everyday. So if you really want one I am assuming you need to provide a nice tip to the guy making the reservation. If you don’t want to do that you are allowed to bring up the beach lounge chairs. We placed eight chairs everyday right by the pool(closest to the entrance to the beach volleyball area) Great spot and just enough space for people to walk between the chairs and the pool. Around the pool during the day there are various games shows. Saw a crazy roller skating show, fashion show, dancing. We participated in one of the games. Didn’t know what the game was at first. They started laying down towels and we are thinking oh shit what is going on. It ending up being a fun competition of “how many sex positions can you do in one minâ€
