DAY 2 AT DESIRE THIS YEAR (June 2010)

To continue with my last post On day 2 I woke up at 5:30 am with splitting head
ache and needing some water so bad I thought I had been in the Sahara desert for
a week with no water, Common explaination , a bad hangover. So I got up for the
water and thought what the hell I am up, might as well go get my chair by the
pool. Looking like a mack truck had run over me, I went to the lobby bar got
some coffee with some Bailys Irish Cream, well maybe it was Baileys with a
splash of coffee , any way it was good and went to the pool . Can you believe it
I was the 3rd person out there to get a chair. Daniel was off that and a young
woman was taking his place. She politely told me I had to wait untill 7 am to
sign up for a chair. So I planted my lame ass down on the chairs I wanted and
waited untill 7am. As it got closer to 7, more and more people began gathering
and the grubbling started which later turned into a roar. So at 6:58 she starts
to take reservation .The unrully crowd had grown to about 20 plus people now and
she had no way of knowing who was first and started taking reservation from the
people who were just walking up . By the time I was able to get my dead ass out
of the chair walk over to her most of the people had already reserved the chairs
that were still left after the special people had already claimed theirs the
night before. Feeling like I just been run over by an even bigger mack truck I
sat down to finish my Bailys, I mean coffee, and with in 5 minutes the dust from
the stampeding chair seekers had settled had cleared. They were all gone except
for me and the chair girl.I finished my coffee enjoyimg the peaceful quiet
morning trying to figure out how I had just got "Fucked" out of my pool chairs.
