9th trip- May 18-26, 2023

We’re sitting in the airport awaiting our flight home- daydreaming about being back at RM already. Since we’ve been a bunch, will give bullet points for those interested:

1. Service team remains undefeated. The staff is what separates this place from others for us. To be greeted with hugs and smiles from so many means so much to us. We genuinely adore the folks who take such amazing care of us.
2. A first for us this trip.
A- we saw a bartender at the jacuzzi act wildly inappropriately toward guests. Won’t get into details but I’m surprised a few husbands didn’t send him over the rooftop. The bartender was let go that night. We’ve never as much felt an awkward glance from any employee prior to seeing this. If I hadn’t seen it, I would not believe it.
3. The beds in front of the passion suites down near the pool didn’t have mattresses for much of the trip. This left very little beach bed options. Noticed there is decent space for about 6-8 beds from the villas toward the beach bar. I hope they add some- it’s a huge draw for us. With the villa beds off limits and largely unused, it’s a big waste of space.
4. Sure wish the beach bar was open later. Such a great space and to only be open until 5 seems silly. A great alternative to the packed hot tub- even open until 7pm would be lovely.
5. Expansion next door is impressive. As are the prices as someone else most elegantly wrote about earlier. We’re quite happy with our membership deal and will have zero desire to upgrade.
6. We love the background music throughout the resort. We love the pool music. We love the hot tub music. Then you get to the disco and it’s good for a while, then you can tell when it switches to music outside of what we know and like. Quite funny how it happens most every night. Music more in the theme would be great. EDC for neon, for example.
7. Left at 12:35 and got to our gate at 1:12. 30 min to check out and 37 min to get from RM to our gate. Shouldn’t be that difficult.
8. These are just observations, not complaints. We love RM and we will be back in 7 weeks and then again in Dec. minor tweaks to make an incredible experience even better.
9. Lastly—guys…do NOT touch a woman, ever, without being 100% sure it’s wanted and acceptable. Had two instances this trip and while it was quickly dealt with, it’s wholly unnecessary and unacceptable to even have to deal with this. Just because we are in a playroom having fun (by ourselves) and you plop down beside us, it doesn’t give you permission to touch anyone, ever.

A great alternative to the packed hot tub- even open until 7pm would be lovely." IS SPOT ON!!!!. We love what was called CC's bar (who is no longer there). We really enjoy having drinks out by the ocean and wish this would turn into a late night drinking option. On the past two trips, we have gotten a bottle of champagne from the main bar, brought a wireless speaker and make a party ourselves. A few couples stopped by and it was a blast.
