question about the jacuzzi area,is it always busy? or is there a time for just relaxing getting sun? when is that area open early morning?

No, its not always busy. It opens at 1:00, and you can go up there and be pretty much to yourselves until 4ish. There is a small deck where you can lie out (and read if you choose). Not many people do but we sometimes enjoy the quiet after lunch and the conversations with the bartender.

In response to the jacuzzi area, it doesn't open until about 3 PM (don't remember if that's the official time) but it's typically not very busy right away. Most people head up there in the late afternoon before dinner, and depending on the crowd it can get really "busy" with all kinds of activities! It does thin about while people are at dinner and the disco but then it usually livens back up after the disco and goes until......

You get my point! It's a blast and again, depending on the crowd, it can be the hottest meeting point at the resort....no pun intended!

Always found it busiest around "happy hour" - 4-6 PM. I can't speak to the late nite attendance as we usually hit it after dinner around 9 and are gone by 11. There really is no BAD time to go

Great report. We are planning a trip to Desire in the spring and we are both nervous and excited. I am sure that we will have a great time and hope to feel comfortable early on so that we can really enjoy the whole adventure. Thanks Tom

Great report. You guys sure got a lot out of your 1st trip! Loved the detailed analysis which was right on. Thanks for sharing. It sure brings back memories. We tried the Desire sensual massage and enjoyed it, but the wife prefers the deep tissue as it helps those achy muscles! Not sure about the watered down drinks, though. I agree it seems you can consume more, but that might be the Desire adrenalin Also not sure about the beach PDS comment. The beds have certainly "toned down" a bit over the last 4 years, but "discreet" ocean activities should not be discouraged. If floating out a ways and your smile is not too broad it would be tough to know for sure what transpires. I guess that means avoid being noticeable...

Thank u for all the info. Very good info and made my decision up to try it. I see u have been to pearl. Do u have a report from there? Which place do u recommend more. We are in our 40's into soft swapping, like to party, but also like to relax.

We like DP also. In general, Pearl has better physical aspects (rooms, pool, etc), but RM has better intangibles (vibe, jacuzzi atmosphere, etc). We have decided to stick with RM but we are a little biased since it was our first.
