Posted: Thu Jun 02, 2011 1:15 pmWow...what a great vacation. I dont think we were there a day before we had decided we'd definitly be back.
Our First Day
We arrived in beautiful Cancun around Noon. We made it through customs rather quickly and then we were Shanghai'd by some time share pirates. Fortunitly we were warned through this forumn and some friends who had just went to Desire not to fall for the sales pitch. They managed to get our attention by calling our flight/vacation airline name and then lead us to a desk that we believed had to do with our shuttle. They try to get you to listen to a time share presentation by offering you a cheap excursion package to some of the area highlights. Dont Fall for it.
Either way we were in a shuttle, beer in hand and on our way to desire within an hour.
We arrived at the resort and were first greeted by the gate crocs...how cool. Then once inside the resort we were meet by the absolutly breathtakingly beautiful Renalta. She immediately made us feel at home, relaxed and ready for a week of fun. She gave a run down of the activities, the layout of the resort and the rules etc. I havent seen my wife that excited and relaxed in months, we were ready for a vacation together.
I think the rest of the report would be easier in sections as a week is alot to cover day by day.
The Room
Our first room was on the second floor of the 2200 block and had linited view because of the top of the beach gazebo. We had other issues with this room through the night. The shower wouldnt drain and so the floor flooded, and the air conditioning leaked all over the night stand. We called the front desk in the morning and we were told we could switch rooms after check out. this was a bit of an inconvience but the second room they gave us was great. Beautiful view of the ocean and just seconds away from the beach beds. We took advantage of that. We spent the mornings on the beds, playing with each other or swimming and having a few drinks, talking and casually chatting up the other beach bed patrons. And if our play got too frisky for the beds were dashed up to the room in no time at all and played there. OPPPS we forgot to close the bedroom doors again...lol... There was plenty of drawers and closet space for what we had brought, which was way too much. the bathroom was small but still it served its purpose. The airconditioning was great and the cleaning staff were wonderful. ( i did however tip each day and know of other couples in the area that didnt get their rooms done as early as we did, didnt ask if they hadnt tipped)
Massage by Claudia
Went into town on our second day for the much touted massage by claudia. Well worth the money. She has great hands and did teach us some wonderful things to experiment with. I seem to have issues relaxing but thats the norm for me. My wife loved it and experienced some great sensations. We werent sure if we were suppossed to provide each other with a happy ending when we were left alone or if that would have been frowned upon. either way it was an awesome experience and we would do it again.
Afternoon Activities/Poolside fun
First few days we didnt do much around the pool as it seemed like it was mostly the hot tamales and ynots that were having fun and we werent sure whether they were open for everyone or what the deal was. We learned after a few days that the afternoons by the pools were a great time and my name was soon learned by Hector, Vanessa (a fellow canuck) and Daneila.. The EC's soon learned they they could count on me and to some degree my wife to participate in the games etc. I became a semiregular pool volley ball player and a regular contest participant. Those guys do their best to break the ice and to make everyone feel welcome and relaxed without feeling ridiculed or embarassed. I truly enjoyed myself but got the feeling from some regulars that there may be some vairiety needed. Over all we had a blast there and never had much issue getting a lounger.
Meals/food/food service
We must be easier to please then most people because we didnt find anything wrong withe the food. Yes the lunches were a bit repeatative but they were still good and deliciuos. The staff in all the eateries damn near fell over us to make sure we were happy and we were. The supper buffets were very convenient and we really enjoyed the themes and the different foods served.We tried the Sushi restraunt and even though it was our first time trying Sushi we truely enjoyed the experience. The white room did require budgeting much more time for a meal but it was truely worth it and to me part of the meal experience for that restraunt. It took us 2 hours to complete a 5 course meal for 8 people. We enjoyed the company and the food.
Evening Activities
We both participated in all the themes. I hardly remember our first night there but im told my leather outfit was a hit...lol... We loved the bands and enjoyed dancing and partying. My favorite events were the Black Tie, School Girl and Sexy White nites as they were my favorite outfits that my wife wore...she was damn hot! We both thought the break dancers were incredible..Loved THE MOTHER FUNKERS.... Although i think there should be more encouragement for the men to wear outfits etc...like maybe more prizes etc if they are dressed in theme.
Disco/Playroom
The disco was kinda repeatative with the music selection. I hope they managed to fix the second stripper pole...SORRY... Overall we enjoyed going and dancing at the disco and then going into the playroom. The playroom was great but we did have a few issues. We had one night where a russian gentleman who was too drunk wondered in a then proceeded to stare at my wife and i while we played. After he tried to cope a feel of my wife he was aked to leave. Which he did. And on the same night there were a bunch of younger couples on one of the beds watching the porn and loudly laughing and critiqueing it. Kind of a mood killer. I did learn its not a place to stop and have a conversation with someone when youve had too much to drink...my bad...sorry!
Hot Tub Jacuzzi
We usually spent from 4ish till suppertime at the Jacuzzi. We usually relaxed and got our drink on. It was here that the hot Tamales and YNOTs made us feel especially welcome and paved our way for a fun vacation. My wife enjoyed body shots a couple of time and had a hood inspection and she got o check out some surgically altered Breasts, which has been a curiousity of hers on many different levels for some time now. I enjoyed it as well..of course..i also enjoyed the many spankings i got around the hot tub for my birthday week. Water was great most times and the bed were a blast.
