St. Maarten

Postby Ron » Mon Dec 01, 2008 12:19 pm

Just returned from our trip to St. Maarten. If sailing, the beaches and fantastic food are what you are looking for, this is the place. Now on the other hand if an erotic vacation, great service and a nice is beach is what you are looking for then Desire is the place. I'll take both!Image The place is just beautiful

Our adopted St. Maarten family. Been bringing Christmas gifts down there for the past 15 years

It's really neat when the jumbo jets from American, Air France, Continental & KLM take off. Hundreds of folks stand in the ocean which is just behind the runway. The jet blasts carry them out in the waves.

CYA all in May.

Hey, great photos Ron.....although could have gone without seeing the Phillies hat....LOL.

No, seriously, looks like you guys had fun! Always wanted to visit the French & Dutch side of St. Maarten but haven't had the chance yet....been too busy over the past three years going to both Desire locations. Maybe now that we'll be making our last trip to Cabo in January, we'll put this on our short list for spring of 2010.

Thanks again for sharing.....

R & N:

We haven't been back to SXM since we discovered Desire in '04.

I have to say that the Sunset Beach Bar is something everybody should try to experience at least once. There is NOTHING quite like standing on the beach as the Air France 747 passes about 20-30 feet right over your head.

And yes.......she turned around and flashed the pilot right after I took this pic!

I also stood behind the 747 once as it was taking off....you don't do that a second time!

Great shots and videos!!!!!!

The nasty women that flash the fly boys before they take off should be ashamed of themselves.

Let's get some pictures of other places we've all been to occupy us til May

*I* drank for free at SSBB in July of 2007! What FUN!

A lady from Canada asked if she could have her picture taken with me (she had all her clothes ON!). I said "Sure"! I think she really liked my tattoos!

I heard SSBB blew away in a hurricane last fall....glad to see it's back in business again!

Counting the days til our Desire trip in Feb!

That drink was the last one before we left the island after an amazing 8 day trip....which included marching in the Nude 4th of July Parade down Orient Beach!

The French folks there threw us a great party! (since there would be no America without the help we received from the French via Lafayette, that seemed appropriate!
)

A good time was had by all!

Truth be told, the French have not a clue on how to throw a party. Went to the big New Years bash in Moncton and it was the worst party I've ever been to in me life. Nicole agrees and she's French.

Our time share is right next to the Sunset Beach Bar. Spend hours there. Sure wish they had a Desire like resort in SXM. Orient is OK but way to many ship tours. Funny story. I'm on the beach a couple years back and a bus load of ship people arrive on the beach. I'm guessing they never saw a naked beach before. One lady walks up to me and asks if she can have someone take her and my picture together. Ummmmmmmmmmm, I think about that for a few seconds and respond, yea sure. Just give me your ship credit card so I can swipe it down your ass. The amazing thing about Orient is the ships charge $35 RT for a bus ride to a nude beach The stupid parents bring teens, pre-teens and youngins with them. The kids are absolutely devastated walking down the beach. On the other hand, half the beach consists of Europeans with children and think nothing of nudity.
