I've been living vicariously through this site for about six months, so I figure I owe a little something in return.

We will be flying out at 6:30 for our 4th trip to Desire. If things go well, we should be checked in before they close the breakfast buffet.

I will try to post a live trip report ala jcandbadboy. (If Jan is reading this, I hate that we've missed you and Rick since '08). If you don't hear from me on the 28th, that means that we are either having too much fun to post, or we overslept and missed our flight.

Way way way too much fun!!

Didn't get a wink of sleep before our 3:45 wake up. Flight took off on time at 6:30 am. Fortunately, we were up front and had our first drinks as soon as we boarded at around 6:00. Took the edge off pretty well. We got in to Cancun at around 9:30 and breezed through immigration. Our bags were first off, heads down as we progressed through the time share hallway and saw the sign for Desire held up by one of the Transbeach employees. After a short wait, we were off to the resort.

For the first time that I've ever heard of, our room was ready when we checked in at about 10:15. We have a passion suite nearest the pool. Very nice room.

The entire day I pretty much figured that I was dreaming, and was waiting to wake up at any moment and have to go into the office. I haven't woken up yet, and am pretty sure that I'm really here.

After we checked in to the room, we went over to the breakfast buffet. J got an omelet, but I really didn't see anything that interested me. Luckily, we walked over to the lunch place and they were open. Ordered the fish fajitas which were excellent. Did I mention that I had been drinking since 6:00 am?

Met some folks, ran into some old friends, settled in quickly.

We hung out in the grassy area in front of the room for most of the afternoon, after which J passed out on a beach bed and I passed out on a couch on our porch. Much needed and very peaceful rest.

We woke up in time to head up to the hot tub. Met some great people up there and had a blast again. I didn't notice anything going on in the beds by the hot tub, but there was a really hot threesome (fmf) going on for about 45 minutes within ten feet of us in the hottub. Freaking awesome!!

We got reservations at the tepanyaki table for 8:00 and we were actually on time. A couple that we have known since our 8 trip joined us, and dinner was great. Saki flowed like water, and the ladies looked very hot. Better save this

The theme was casino night. J wore something that looked really hot, but I honestly cant remember what it was. I wore a tux shirt with black shorts. Of course, my intoxication made me feel that I looked much better than I probably did.

We really enjoyed playing craps and blackjack while the tables were open, then they had an auction that I didn't pay much attention to since I lost all my fake money.

Off to the disco. Don't remember much about that, but we did go into the playroom. We were the only ones in there and it was pretty fun. Went back to the room where we had a little fun by ourselves then J passed out.

Not wanting to waste a minute of Desire time, I went back out to the lobby bar to get a pizza. Met some more really nice people then took the pizza back to the room. The pizza is okay, not great.

Woke up early this morning. I had spoken to one of the chef's yesterday about getting me some tomales. Our breakfast delivered to the room this morning included six chicken tomales wrappe in corn husks. This place is great.

I went to the lobby bar to get a couple of lattes, and they just happened to have some 100 year old tequila. Yummy. Its gonna be another great day at Desire!!

The people are beautiful, the weather is beautiful, and I'm really here.

Sorry about yesterday, I just couldn't bring myself to get onto the computer. Lemme touch on a couple of quick issues. First the bugs. We have never had a problem with bugs here before, but on our first day, both J and I slept on one of the beach beds during the afternoon. Big mistake. Yesterday, J looked like she had the measles and I didn't look much better. We haven't had a problem since the first day though.

Also, the wifi is fine in our room. There are two free porn channels. One of them is the Playboy channel which has been pretty much worthless, but the other one is a pretty good hardcore channel.

The staff, as always has been exceptional.

Saturday, was another great day. Did the normal pool during the day, ate at the grill then up to the hottub. They set up a charcoal grill next to the pool where they grilled up beef, chicken, pork and fish. The chef made us up some delicious fish fajitas.

About midday, I gave Silvia a box of Jello and she had the kitchen make up our jello shots for the hottub. We asked Carlos from the bar to retrieve them when we arrived at the hottub, which he was glad to do. They were a big hit and were gone within minutes.

We ate at the buffet, and as I recall, the meal was pretty good. The entertainment up at the disco was a group of acrobats sorta. Those guys were really strong and it was a pretty good show.

I was really tired at this point and J said I was sleeping through our dance so we went up to the hottub with some friends for a while then called it a night.

Yesterday was pretty much the same routine. They did not have the charcoal grill set up, but lunch was still pretty good. I had the opportunity to eat lunch with Dlee and his beautiful wife. They are just as nice as they sound from Dlee's wonderful trip reports.

We at dinner at the white restaurant. I had the steak and it was very good. I hate to admit, the we didn't even make it up to the disco last night. Hopefully we'll make up for lost time tonight.

The weather has been perfect. Its been sunny and hot with a slight breeze.

It seems pretty full, but we have not had a problem getting good chairs by the pool, and have not had to wait for anything.

A vast majority of the guests are from the U.S., with some other nationalities sprinkled in. I would estimate the age range between thirties and sixties with most probably being between 35-50.

Another great day here at DRM. Started out with them delivering eggs benedict (which were perfectly prepared) to the room. Did some water aerobics, and played pool volleyball. The ref sucked and that's why we lost. Just kidding. Lunch was really good. Ordered a Desire Pollo which is a chicken sandwich with a spicy thousand island type sauce. Very good. French fries were great as well.

Getting ready to head up to the hottub right now. May be too late, but we'll see.

On a side note, I've been a little disappointed in the pds's etc. Hopefully things will pick up in about 15 minutes.

The PDSs have picked up a bit, which is nice.

We ate at the white restaurant again last night. Again, had a great meal. The filet was grilled to perfection and the service as always was wonderful.

I'm going to try to take pics of all the current menus here and post them here or in the photo section. So if you are interested in seeing the, check back in the next day or two.

Last night was naughty school girl/ class nerd. They had a contest for best costume which was very sexy. All of the girls were very hot. I would say that about 2/3 of the girls dressed for the theme night and about 1/4 of the guys. There were some great costumes and there was some good fun in the disco. Didn't make it into the playroom or to the hottub after the disco.

We were greeted with salmon, capers, cream cheese and bagels along with eggs benedict in our room for breakfast. This never gets old. Getting ready for the beach/pool. I'll report back soon.
