Has anybody returned from International Swingers Month yet? If you lived to tell about it, can you give us a trip report?

We were thinking the same thing,where are the trip reports..the last poster. It says to the right that you were to be there Jan 17 th. No?? Also real funny smilies you have there

We were there for the first week. Ste staff was even unaware it was Swinger Month, the special rules, etc..
What a joke!

We did ISM last year and will be there again this year. I believe last year was their first try at this. Clearly it is an inducement but it was not just a gimmick in our view. Things were pretty much like usual except the activities were a bit different (like having Eyes Wide Shut) instead of other themes commonly done. But the best part really was that they invite special guests like sex therapists and other "experts".

So for example we were in a group of about 20 couples following directions about giving orgasms (quite a unique situation for participatory learning}. It is sexy (and at times comical) to have all of the couples following the directions and witnessing and being a part of group orgasms. Similar for the large group erotic massage lessons.

We are not returning during ISM because of ISM, it is more about our vacation timing, but we are both happy that it works out that way because ISM did include options for added fun. Like everything at Desire, you do not have to participate, but it is often a super experience to try new things like the events available during ISM.

January 2015 is swingers month. We just got back. The rules for the month were laid out at checkin....play just about anywhere etc. we saw and did have sex play at the pool and other places. The games were sexier...and lots of play went on.

So it was very noticeable this week.

And very very fun.!!

We are here now. Leave later today after a week here. During swingers month, you can have sex anywhere you'd like, except for the restaurants or lobby. Tried it out to see if it was true. Sure enough, no one bothered us when having sex out in the open. Next year we will definitely book during this month. That is if the new hotel they are building next door doesn't spoil the fun. At the moment wife and I are laying naked by the pool in clear view of what looks to be a future balcony of the adjacent construction. I get a feeling the new construction will definitely change things. It's way too close to desire.

We were at DRM the 2nd week of Jan during ISM. Only once did we see anyone taking advantage of the loosened rules for PDAs around the pool. We've been at Desire when the atmosphere was much tamer, but also considerably wilder (at least in public).

The Jessica O'Reilly classes (going down on her; going down on him) were great ice breakers and were a nice addition in the slower part of the afternoon's activities. On both occasions it resulted in the entire disco looking like a much larger Playroom with wall-to-wall mattresses on the floor. The "Wine Tasting" demo was equally interesting. We attended with another couple. It started out a little slow and us guys opted to head to the bar, and evidently that's when things really got interesting for the ladies. I will stay for it in its entirety if they have it during our next visit.

Other than that, we saw no significant difference during our stay. The fact that it was ISM likely tilted the usual Lifestyle/Vanilla ratio up a bit in favor of LS, but that would be expected. It was our first trip in January and it was great be naked on the beach at 82 degrees (F) in lieu of the temp of 0 (F) at home. But that's simply the luck of the draw, this week we're enjoying weather in the 50s.

We'll be doing a trip report for our first time at Desire two weeks ago. Can't offer a comparison to non-ISM, but we had a great time, met a lot of people, and the afternoon classes definitely spiced things up!

We are on our way back were there for the last week of ISM and was great. When we played by the pool, hot tub main bar area and it sparked others to do so as well, as when we seen others it made us go at it. when we were done looked around at one point and there were three other couples having sex, we tried to keep it out of the water for the ick factor but did it just about everywhere else on the beds, chairs etc
