4th of July 2015 week

This was our first trip to Desire. We normally do Hedo for this week. Overall, we had a great time. We checked in and were greeted with great service. Our room was ready, (it was 4pm) and before being escorted and shown our room we were unfortunately given a high pressure sales pitch on their discount program that was very much like a time share sales pitch. Once we said no for the 5th time in a more forceful manner, the sales person stopped being nice and simply asked the butler to take our luggage. Aside from that, every other aspect of our trip was greeted with amazing customer service.

We had some room issues, we got the Passion Ocean Front Suite. Upon check in the phone, lights, tv and vanity mirror were not working. These were repaired within 10 minutes, again with amazing service. Overall, great trip.

Good; Service=amazing. People = awesome. Food=great. Room=very nice. Music=very nice. Entertainment=great effort, funny, sexy. Excursion=Extreme adventure ATV, cliff jumping and repelling. Awesome servic/experience. Get the private transport for only $80.00 us, worth it.

Bad; check in sales pitch. Awful!!!!! seaweed, seaweed, seaweed oh my. Ruined the beach... everywhere. Themes=not too many participants. Less than 30% participated. Catamaran trip to Isla Mujeres aboard Gypsy Breeze=aweful. Worst $280.00 ever spent. Too crowded on boat, worst snorkeling ever..... lunch was served at 4:30pm.......food sucked, drinks were a mixture of piss, water and sweat. Awful experience.

We had a great week. Met amazing people. Had a great time making amazing memories.

We were at RM during the same time, but don't think we had the chance to meet. Thanks for the trip report, we love seeing how others enjoyed the week when we were also there.

Our trip report is forthcoming, but we agree with most of your assessments. The beach was horrible, but there was great energy in the disco every night. We also couldn't have had better weather, not a drop of rain that I could remember.
